Kiosk mode turns a campaign into a reusable check-in on a shared device. It uses the same branded, private feedback flow as the campaign link and resets after each completed response.

Start or reopen a kiosk

Open a campaign, choose **Kiosk**, and enable it if needed. Owners, Admins, and Managers can return to this page to view, copy, or open the current kiosk URL again. Reopening the page does not change the URL.

Open the URL on the shared device once. AfterCheck exchanges it for a device-only session and removes the capability from the address bar. Leave the device on the resulting `/kiosk` page. Use the browser or operating system's kiosk or full-screen mode when the shared device supports it, and disable navigation gestures that could leave the check-in.

Open the campaign **Kiosk** tab to view the current kiosk URL, copy it, preview the QR code that opens the same URL, or download the QR as an SVG for print or digital placement. Copying or downloading does not change the kiosk token, so the URL and QR stay valid until you rotate or revoke access.

Kiosk keeps the business identity and standard private-feedback thank-you presentation, but it does not show outbound public-profile, website, contact, or Next Action links. Those links remain available in the normal campaign-link flow; omitting them from kiosk keeps the shared device ready for the next person and applies equally to every feedback state.

Normal kiosk URLs do not expire on a schedule. They remain active until an authorized operator rotates or revokes them, kiosk access is disabled, or the campaign or workspace is no longer available.

Kiosk URLs created before v0.12.0 used a legacy one-way format. They continue under their original lifecycle, but AfterCheck cannot reconstruct them for display. Rotate one deliberately to create the current reusable format.

Rotate or revoke access

Use **Rotate URL** only when the existing URL may have been exposed or the device setup must be replaced. Rotation immediately invalidates the old URL and creates a new reusable URL.

Use **Revoke** to stop kiosk access without creating a replacement. These are deliberate actions; simply viewing or copying the current URL does neither.

If the kiosk is inactive, revoked, or otherwise unavailable, AfterCheck hides the usable QR preview and download instead of showing a stale destination.

Protect a shared device

• Keep the kiosk in a supervised public area.
• Do not paste the kiosk URL into analytics, tickets, or public documents.
• Wait for the thank-you screen to reset before the next person begins.
• Revoke or rotate the URL if the device is lost or the URL is exposed.
• Kiosk mode requires a network connection and does not store feedback offline.

Preview and download QR codes

The campaign **Links** page shows a preview of the QR code for the canonical campaign link. Confirm the displayed destination, then download the SVG for print or digital placement. The preview and download use the same destination.

The campaign **Kiosk** tab uses the same QR preview and download pattern for the active kiosk URL. The QR opens the current kiosk link, and rotation updates the URL shown on the tab as well as the QR that operators can download.

Tracked request pages can also provide a QR code. A request QR contains a customer-specific link, so share it only with the intended recipient. If a campaign, request, or workspace is unavailable, AfterCheck disables the QR download instead of generating a stale destination.
